    V20 w/ G2

Currently in an 18' Triton w/ an Optimax, my first bass boat. Thinking about my next ride and I'm looking at Legends. Curious to see if anyone knows anyone with/ has ridden in a V20 with a G2? I haven't found any posts or seen any top speeds with this motor. If V20's drag out of the hole with a full tournament load/ gas tank/ live wells and 2 guys then I'd like to see if the G2 hole shot is the solution to that problem. And if the G2 does fix the hole shot then what kind of top end speed will it get? I like Tritons and Mercurys but a Legend w/ a G2 might be the sharpest looking rig on the water IMO.

My fishing partner has a 2016 v20/250sho and that boat has GREAT holeshot with full tournament load full fuel full livewells and two guys. I don't own a Legend but believe they took care of the holeshot issue for the 2016 model year. Speeds with the SHO are around 70mph. Hope this helps. If I didn't have a chubby to run 90 I'd absolutely own a Legend. I think my buddy would prefer I didn't want to go fast.

    I have a v21 with a G2 250 and love it.

I didn't do any speed / propping this year as I got it late into the tourny season. But I will have a bunch of prop and speed testing done in May (ice melt here).

I'll post once I have numbers for everyone.

This gentlemen up in my neck of the woodshttps://m.facebook.com/nick.cousvis*ran a v20 and G2 this year. He's a pro staffer so he'll answer any questions you may have if you message him. He's also on instagram.

I have a national Legend prostaffer that is getting ready to fish his first year in a V-20 with a G2. We have been running the boat and it is awesome with the Evinrude. However, I see 0% difference than that of the SHO. In my opinion the SHO will have better resale. The newer V-20's with the Mercs are doing fine as well, night and day better than the 2015's. If you are looking for a V20 give us a shout we can arrange a testdrive.

Hey buddy when you say big difference over the 2015's are you referring to the holeshot or the hull problems?

From my opinion yes, we see a huge improvement from 2015 in regards to hole shots. As far as hull problems, I was not a dealer for 15 model year, only spent time driving a friends 2015 V-20.
