Going to mount the transducer on the jackplate for SI. Need another ducer to shoot through running at speed. Do they have a split set up for this unit or would I just have to unplug one and plug the other in? I know this is an older unit now and don't know about part availability. Do they make a split version? what is the part number? what would be the part number of a shoot thru transducer stand alone? wondering if it is even worth the cost? Thanks for any help.CF
You use the same set up that has been used since SI came out.
The AS SIDB Y cable disconnects the 83/200 kHz 2D sonar crystal in the SI transducer and connects the added 2D transducer in its place.
The shoot-thru for suitable hulls is the XP 9 20.
No menu changes needed.
It's "worth it" if you want on-plane depth readings with a high performance fiberglass hull.
