Bluewater extreme deck light question

I have two extra bluewater extreme deck lights and I'm curious about putting them on my trailer. The reverse lights on my trailer went out (incandescent clearance/marker style with clear lense) and I've been thinking about putting my extra deck lights down there. I would have to mount small plates over the grommet cutouts but I feel like it would look pretty clean. Has anyone done this? Can they handle the water? Also, I fish the St. John's river so brackish water. Any thoughts on how the wiring and light would hold up?

Any advice will be much appreciated.

They will hold up fine, they are fully submersible.
