Ranger RT198 center step on RT188

Has anyone looked into seeing if you can purchase the center step used on the 198P for the 188's?

Probably tooo much. Check on Bass Cat,they make a nice one also for about 150

If i remember right someone just posted that the 198 step was like 500 dollars and the bass cat step was around 150 dollars. I'll try and find the post where i saw it.

I found the thread about the coin box or step whichever you choose to call it for the rt198. It is on page 3 and 8 threads down. He said the rt198 box was over 500 dollars from ranger. But he bought one at bass cat for 135 dollars. He also posted pictures of it installed on his boat rt188 it also has cup holders built in. I hope this helps you out. Take care. After reading your thread again i'm not sure if you are talking about the step to the front deck or the step to the rear deck. The one i am referring to is the step to the rear deck.

Sorry, my bad. I was talking about the front deck step. Has anyone priced this? Thanks for the replies.

Someone did post on here about adding a hot foot to a 198. They simply cut a 1/3 of the foot brace thing off to make room for it. Looked good, there were pictures.
