Ford F250 Up to 2016 hold 13 quarts, 2017s hold more. Rotella T costs about $18 a gallon. Plus an oil filter. Figured about $75 per change if I do it myself.

The duramax holds 10 quarts and tractor supply sells the 2.5 gallon jug of Rotella t for 29.99 and a filter for 6.00.
Watch the rotella website for the 5 dollar a gallon rebates. They have them pretty regular as does chevron Delo and Mobil Delvac. All three are around 13 bucks a gallon at Walmart. The rebates take a few weeks to get processed but it cuts down on the cost. I don't even know what is in my ram right now. Whichever brand had the rebate most recently. They all seem to perform pretty good.
Thanks, Good info, my next oil change will be the first one I do myself. Plus I'm sure what is going in it. My last change they put 15w-40 in my Ford and seemed to hurt mileage, and Its not needed for my truck.
All my Duramax's were always 80-90 bucks for someone else to change.

I use this in all our equipment and trucks and get it for $9 a gallon at my local Napa store. $4.49 for the oil filter.
