Haven't been fishing in a month!!!! But it was worth it.

Finished my late rifle bull hunt just last week. My buddy and I were both able to come home with 2 nice bulls. It was tough, but completely worth it.

Now it's time to get back to fishing. Lol.

Y'all didn't cape the heads? I know something like that would be a trophy of a lifetime for me.

Thanks everyone. My friend didn't cape his bull, because he's going to do a European mount on his bull. He has a nice 335" archery bull already that he had shoulder mounted. I didn't realize how big my bull was until I got him home, and put a tape on him. I had planned on doing a European mount as well. After scoring him unofficially at 332-333", I decided I'd better get a shoulder mount. So I took him into the taxidermist, and I'm going to have to pay a little bit more to get a cape for him. I'm also going to get an official score on the bull when it's done. They're going to fix his broken 3rd on his right side as well. I'm going to have him mounted in the sneak position facing at a 45 degree angle to his right. Just like this.

If I had the chance to do that, the fishing gear would just have to collect dust for a while... Congrats to you both.
