New tournament trail for 2017 NEW HAMPSHIRE

Chris Bolduc and myself are considering putting together a 4 tournament trail for NH in 2017 thru Back Bay Bassmasters. We have applied for permits already and are awaiting the approvals...we have put in for alternate dates as well...

    Couple of important notes:

    100% PAYBACK
    SATURDAY tournaments
    MAX of 15 teams
    $300/team per tournament with a $40/person membership
$1,800 will go towards Team of the Year

    2017 Locations/Dates

    7/15 Winni West Alton Marina
8/12 Lake Ossipee West Ossipee Marine
    9/23 Conway Lake
    10/7 Squam Lake

90% payback (10% goes to team of the year)
    Per Tournament
    $300 x 15 teams
    $4,500 Gross
    $4,050 Net
$450 withheld per tournament/$1,800 Team of the Year ***
*** teams must fish all four tournaments together in order to qualify for Team of the Year with ONE substitute allowed. One member of the team is required to fish all 4.

Payout Schedule Based on 15 Boats (4 spots)
    $4,050 NET
    1st $2,000
    2nd $1,000
    3rd $750
    4th $300

Lunker largemouth/Lunker smallmouth/First Loser/Ramp fees will be collected during the morning of the tournament.

Any questions, please IM me or text/call me 978-273-8528. These are REALLY high payouts based on a small number of boats so between the tournament payouts and the Team of the Year, there are thousands of dollars a team can earn by doing well. We will be collecting down payments after the 1st of the year with full payment due by April 1 ...first come first serve and Chris and i are the first so that leaves 14 spots available.

Don't hesitate to contact me with questions and as i said, we're still working out the specifics.

    Yes.
I've been around long enough people know who I am so there shouldn't be any worries about sending me money. With only 15 boats, fishing and paying for all 4 will be required. I've already started a checking account so at each tournament the payout checks will be filled in and ready to be passed out once the winners are determined. $1280 for a trail will definitely not be for everyone but for anyone looking for a chance to win $8,000 if you win all 4 tournaments and then $1800 for Team of the Year, this trail is unlike any other trail around right now. That's an opportunity to win almost $10,000 for $1280 in fees. As I said this trail will not be for everyone. The good news is there are lots of options in the state for everyone from $30 through $300 in entry fees. $2,000 1st place with only 15 boats fishing, paying 4 spots, for a total of more than $4,000 per tournament is without comparison. Thanks for checking Phil.

The membership fees will go towards scales, permits, etc...we aren't looking to make money doing this but we thought bringing a high end trail with 100% payback was an idea alot of guys would welcome. i have received a couple of calls already. As for the membership fees, a lot of trails are doing it but there are only a select few trails that are paying out 100%...

Essentially the idea behind this trail is to have the highest payback with least amount of logistical crap. We are looking for ringers. We want a high level of competition with great paybacks. At the same time, we aren't stacking the decks with one body of water, such as winni, to keep things fun and challenging. If the $ is too much, or fronting it makes you uncomfortable, then don't participate. If we get less then 10 teams it's all off and everyone gets any money fronted back. Look at it this way. If you fish a bass nation open double down, and pay in 2 entry fees with 40 boats, you won't likely get the same payback winning against 39 other teams. All the while we are in and out of the ramp in less then 1 hour. Better yet, it's a Saturday, so you can still fish and open you want on Sunday.

As Chris mentioned, if we don't get at least 10 boats, then everyone gets their checks back. Having said that, even with 10 boats, the payouts would be very good...

Payout Schedule Based on 10 Boats (3 spots)
    $3,000 Gross
10% team of the year $300 (Winner would receive a check for $1,200)
    $2,700 Net
    1st $1,500
    2nd $900
    3rd $300

$1,500 1st place against 9 other teams is still really strong and just about 1/3 of the team will get at least their money back, as there are 3 paying spots...in the same scenario, if a team were to win all 4 tournaments, they'd take home $6,000 plus $1,200 team of the year for a total of $7,200 for $1,280 in fees...

I'm very interested in this. I will be relocating back to NH this coming year and would like to be involved in a trail like this. I'm going to run this by my tourney partner and see if he's interested. Good stuff

I have been working with Vikki from NHFG all morning...we were denied Great East due to someone getting the 5th and final permit for that lake...there were no other bodies of water available on the 9th so we moved it around again and still managed to avoid the STQT on the 16th of Sept as well as the NEBA TOC on the 30th plus, we're going to a GREAT body of water!!! Conway! I am awaiting permits but she has said we are good to go and now have both Squam and Conway!!! What a colossal pain in the arse this has been. i had NO idea there were that many Sat tournaments!

    Jay......

2 man team trail. All tournament rules apply...........

Big question for me. What will the team limit of fish be for this trail? 5 fish, 8 fish, 10 fish? Makes a difference.

    Nice trail!

All 4 tournaments will be an 8 fish limit...

Thanks for bringing this up Ed.

Started getting checks in last week. My biggest surprise is i had no idea there were that many tournaments on Saturday's. I was shocked. It took so much work to get the correct dates/locations. I think we did it but now it's just trying to find 10-15 teams who dont have any conflicts.
