I saw this boat at the Dallas Boat Show back then. Pretty impressive looking. 100mph in a bass boat in those days was yuuuuuuge.

Those older Champions were really nice looking boats IMO. The hole thing looks bad azz. With two 250 XB's on the back you could just sit there and watch the fuel gauge drop.

It would be cheaper to go to the strip club and make it rain than taking the boat out.

Does anyone think it's possible to fabricate a robust bracket to house two outboards to go on the back of a G? Need to beef up the transom? That magazine picture has me curious.

Come to think of it. My ass end sits pretty low, that may swamp it as soon as it floats off of the trailer.

They must have taken that thing all over the country. I seen it at the Big E way back when. They had it hooked to a Hummer they were both insane!

Just put a Seven Marine on the back 627 hp should get you 100 mph. The drawback is the motor cost more than the boat. lol

You are thinking of it all wrong! With two motors on the back you will get there faster, so you won't have to drive her as long right?? Should be easier if you don't have to drive her as long.

Wonder where this hull ended up.

Not a problem in the right water conditions and proper set-up. Set-up and trimmed correctly, A Gambler is one of the easiest driving high performance boats on the market. Too many want to trim too high due to incorrect set-up.
