    2016 150 Four Stroke Performance

Just wanted to share performance on my 150 Four stroke 2016 serial number 2B370231 model 1150F13HD. Repowered this spring setup is on 2006 Stratos 294XL, 6 inch manual Jack Plate, prop Raker II 24 pitch 3 blade with evinrude conversion kit. Awesome motor WOT Rpm's 5800 top end speed with moderate to full load 62mph gps, with light load 65 mph. Gets on plane in 4.9 seconds. I went down in Horse Power from a small block Etec 200hp lost only 8 mph with the change in horse power. Gas mileage far better than the Etec also gets my boat up on top far better than the Etec. I wanted a four stroke as my next motor so glad I went with Mercury plus saved about $3200.00 over a Yamaha in my area. I hope this info helps any of you thinking about repowering with the Mercury 150 Four Stroke. Awesome Motor !!

As far as I can tell, the Merc. 150 FourStroke runs side by side my F150 Yamaha. And you're right about the price being right at under $11K. Sometimes Mercury will also pay labor on the repowering.

The motor's been just great from Day One, so Mercury really did their honmework on this engine.
