    V 20 or Alpha 211

    Has anyone gone from a 211 to a V 20?
I am currently running a 2013 Alpha 211. I am wandering how the ride is on the V 20 compared to the 211. Is there that much of difference?

I have a 2014 211r. I am considering the same, going to the v20. The ride in the 211 is better than v20, due to the v20 being shorter. The deck on the v20 is what I want especially since I fish a lot of tournaments and have a partner. But I still go back and forth trying to weigh the pros and cons. good luck hope this helps

I went from a 2013 211r, 2015 V-20, 2016 V-20. The 2017 model rides much different than the 15's & 16's. The 211r is by far the absolute best rough water ride I have been in and I have owned and driven quite a few. The V-20 is slower, still does fantastic in rough water but it as good as the 211r. It has more side to side movement given the nature of a wide bodied boat. The hole shot of a 211r is better than the 15's & 16's. The 17's jump out of the water. With lithium batteries so do the early models though. The stability of the 211r is better, then again it's narrow so it should be. Let me know if there is anything I have missed.

I considered a v20 but went with a 2017 211r for the rough water ride.
The v20 rides good but the 211r is mo better. 211 has enough deck and storage for me.
