You're headed in the right direction. More weight forward is your best bet. Does your front deck allow you to stow trolling motor batteries up front as well?

My 87' porpoised very bad with a 3L Merc until I relocated my two group 27 batteries forward of the console.

Also, I can't attest because I don't own a Storm with them, but trim tabs may help as well.

do you have trim tabs??? Honestly I wouldn't own a storm without tabs. I had similar issues on my 88' storm when the tabs broke. Tried everything but could never get it. It was really bad in rough water, ....couldnt get that front end down for anything.

I have trim tabs and they do help alot. My deck is small, I'm planning on extending it and changing storage and rod boxes when I can

Need guidance on that . I guess you are talking about putting HOOK in the bottom. I was hoping to solve the problem without do so much to take away top speed.

Transom wedges have solved this for several boats..I will be adding them to my new project storm.

Stupid question, but is the wedge is positioned for more negative trim correct? So the thick part is up top?

Lots of potential. It's a cool looking boat. Been a while since there has been a 22' on here
