    I thing you can do that on your lowrance unit's also . I think you go to sonar ,then hit stop chart . I does that every time i move to spot to spot , when i move with the big motor .

    yeah you can do that on a lowrance too, I usually just hit the 'sonar stop' icon when I am just pitchin and beating the banks.
