No hole in one to date...closest was a 189 Yard to the pin par 3, dropped a 6 iron right of the hole and it stuck, measured 4 inches to the hole.

closest I've been is 10 inches. It is a great feeling to do during a golf tournament for sure.

no hole in one yet either, have come within 12 to 18 inches a couple of times in 20 years.

Hypothetical question, it hasn't ever happened to me.......but say you have completed 18 holes and decided to play a few extra holes just for the fun of it. and you make a hole in one but not in a formal round, does it count?!......lol

Got my first and only last winter at FT Campbell's course. 110 yards into a 15 MPH wind. 9 iron. Talk about being shocked.

None so far. I've dropped a few to within a foot or less.

I have managed to hole out about 4 approach shots over the years that averaged from 130yds to 170. Why I can do that and not ace a par 3 is beyond me.

I've been close a few times. Once I was not able to fit my putter head between the cup and the ball. Other times I have been under 12" (ball landed 2" left of center of cup and spun back a little). Only holed out twice from the fairway. Longest was 150 yards that happened this year.

No hole in one and I've never holed out from the fairway. Never been closer then about 3 feet on a par 3. Bunch of par 5 eagles. I am a 10 handicap and I don't play much anymore.

1/6/10 164yd. Cold drizzly WINDY day, but I still went golfing. :) Hit a low 4 iron to stay under the wind, and thankfully the flag stick got in the way. It took us a few minutes looking around before we finally checked the hole. lol

2 for me. First one I saw and was a 160 YD 8 iron that touched nothing but the bottom of the cup...slam dunk. The other was a 175 yard 6 iron uphill quite a bit. Hit about 8 feet from the hole (according to ball mark). I thought it was long and grabbed my wedge and putter and started over the green. Could not find the ball and partner said look in the cup...BINGO!! I thought the ball mark was his!!

2 holes in one for me. The first one I didn't get to see. (elevated green) we looked all around for that ball and my brother just happened to look in the cup and there it was 140 hard 7 iron. My second one came when my dad was with me!! #2 at My Old Kentucky Home in Bardstown. Great memories with him.
