313 Inch New Tennessee State Record Buck

It looks like Tennessee has a new state record buck. It was taken just north of Nashville, TN. It scored 313 inches. The pictures are on the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency (TWRA) website.

I cannot even imagine how hard it would be to hold it together when a 313" buck walks by.

It's certainly a giant buck based on the TWRA Facebook pictures. Tennessee has really been producing some giant bucks in recent years. I think with all the food plots, TN bucks are growing much larger than they used to grow, plus more TN hunters are passing on smaller bucks.

That area must have good genetics, a 51 point buck was taken in the same county a few years ago. Also, there are trail cam pictures taken this year of a giant buck that some say may score over 250 inches on a military base a few counties away from where this buck was taken.

I believe this is the buck from the Fort Campbell military base.

Yes, I believe that is the buck. A hunter posted some recent trail cam pictures of that buck over on the TN Deer website. I have always believed the military bases in this state could grow state record class bucks.

Great buck! The current TN state record buck was taken in the same area I believe.

The 313 buck has one split brow, and neither are as long as the ones the one on the hoof has...both are studs...

I was just posting a photo of the Fort Campbell deer. I never meant to imply that this was the same deer.

The 313 inch buck was taken about 40 to 50 miles east of Fort Campbell. The Fort Campbell buck is a different buck that hasn't been taken by anyone yet.

The photo I posted was sent to me earlier this year and is supposed to be from Fort Campbell. But, it looks like a farm raised deer so I don't know. Either way, like you said it is a Big Ass Deer.
