They had a Laser with a modified tunnel hull running full length. They were very fast, but not exactly the most stable ride around.
I ordered a new 2550 bass in 1991 and ran a XP 150 on it for a bit then an XP 200. I then a new 3880 closed bow and ran the XP200 and converted it to center steer. I bought a used 93 19' with a 155 Evinrude as well. Not a stable fishing platform but fun boats for sure!

Had a 19 ft. Lazer with a race modified 2.4 Mercury. Loved that boat! Plenty fast and would turn a 26 long ear chopper 7800 rpm. Had to drive it a bit!Would like to have a nice one now just like it.
