my 1st baas boat was a brand new 1978 Ebb Tide, 15.5' with a 55 Johnson
They were build here in white bluff TN. I worked there from 1981 to 1984 they where built like a tank . great boats!

Put a new floor and carpet in my ol Ebbtide a few months back... Redoing some of the interior now still.. And fishing and boating out of it.. While its still not done ... Sorry i'm addicted lol.... Waiting on a new stator to show up... And it will be back on the water... I'll post some pics from the floor process later tonight :rocker:

I just traded for a 95 180 STE with a 95 150 Intruder with a 6" Vance plate that's definitley been taken care of. Just ordered a new water pressure gauge kit & ordering pro trim next week. After installing this I'll be adding 4 new glomaxx blacklight jacks & probably get a little prop work done. It only runs 59 with me all by my lonsome & 56 with my 325Lb. partner, but fishes great.
I have a 1984 Dyna Trak 179 that I bought from the original owner, a friend of mine, about 6 months after he bought it. It was built in April/May of 1984 and is the same color scheme as bobkyles'. I run a 1984 150 2.0 Mariner with a 23" Tempest plus and average 57-58mph gps at about 5900rpm. Top speed has been 59.2gps. I replaced the carpet about 5 yrs. ago, & it looks great. The boat has been garage kept since new and is still rock solid. I have a 6" plate I'm planning to put on it, but I think my 12' cables may be too short. Debating on whether to install 13' cables or bite the bullet & go hydraulic. It still has one of the original "super hi-tech" fully functional Humminbird Super 60's on the console. All is still pretty much original. It's a great boat!
There is a nice one for sale on craigslist in louisville ky. My dad had one in the late 80's. Best boat we ever had.
I bought an Ebbtide Dyna Trak 160 a little bit ago. Then the better half had to have open heart surgery. Needs a bit of mtr work, and a new deck, a bit of gel coat work, but she floats. Trolling motor works. I have knee surgery coming up in a month or so, and either I do the work after, if I'm able to, or i give to the professionals to do. but if everything goes well it'll be ready next year. pic's on phone and will follow shortly.

I'd be perfectly happy to have my old 180STE back. I really liked that boat.
