I have been playing with the transducer on the ti ,it's now under the jackplate and the elite 7 transducer is on bottom of the boat .I have both ti and elite 7 at the dash and a elite 7 at the bow.Iam getting a little interference at the dash .I may run a separate power and ground wire for both units to the battery and see if that helps .If you turn one off it goes away .You can see the sewer pipes under the lake on a couple of pics and even the concrete foundation they set on .Both units are pretty good for the price point and the ti even has down overlay on the map which is really neat.

Yes the 455 picks up more ,like prop wash and it's a little easier to see fish on 800.455 does produce better structure pics.I switch between the 2 and use both for finding different structures and fish if that makes sense.

Yes Caught a few bass and few big crappie
To me the new TI is a great unit and it can be wireless to a big note pad/I pad ,so if you have one that will save you a ton of money.

Do you use your phone as a hotspot to do this? Doesn't this kill your data?

That is via wireless. My question is does it use tons of data when you are on the water.
