Ranger Intracoastal z21 Pictures as requested

Here we go guys. I am really happy to have this rig and it's exactly what I was after. It's a 2009 w/low hours, plenty of warranty, and is LOADED. I have gotten a lot of IM's about the boat and requests for pics so here you go! Took these with my black berry so pic quality is so-so but you'll get the gist of the rig I think. Took the saltwater TM off and put the Fortrexx on while we're still in NC. Will put the iPilot back on when I get down the coast of SC for salt water fishing. Nice to be able to switch them back and forth.

I'll be taking the rig to the experts at Berkeley Outdoors Marine in Monks Corner, SC to get the 2nd power pole put on, a foot switch for the two, and may switch back over to the new Lowrance Gen2 HDS units. The boat has 4 Humminbird graphs on it now that all work great but I prefer the HDS stuff so that may be step 2 after the power pole but I'm not 100% sure on that yet.

If you have interest in a boat like this give Clinton Stewart (a BBC Sponsor) a call at Berkeley Outdoors Marine located in Monks Corner, SC. He'll fix ya right up and get you smart on this rig. Those guys know their stuff and have made me a customer for life.

This last one is the trim tab control switch. Tough to photo in the light I had. Basically it's two buttons side by side that you can press at once to raise/lower the trim tabs and is flush mounted in to the area just below the throttle shifter in front of the livewell baffle control handle to go to recirc, empty, etc. Very clean and what a benefit to have on a bass boat!

Nice. Chuck, I have one power pole XL as well. I started about a month ago looking for a second one. I have had no luck finding one. The pro series is different somehow. If you decide to sell your XL and get 2 Blades or pro series then please let me know, I could use your white XL.

Thanks guys. Really enjoying fishing from this set up. Got out yesterday and the day before and put it on em pretty good. Will be hoping to wet a line tomorrow after work for a bit if time permits. Feels good to get on the water again and back in a Ranger. Love it!

Very nice. Is that trolling motor good for salt water?

Re: Ranger Intracoastal z21 Pictures as requested (fishfry)

Thank You. Nope, the Fortrexx will fold over and die in salt water in no time I'm told. The first picture shows the head of the salt water TM that was on it when I picked it up. I have the salt water Minn Kota iPilot 36v TM that I can quick disconnect and swap out w/the Fortrexx for days in the salty stuff and leave the Fortrexx on for lake and river fishing.

Wish they made a true cable steer salt water TM as I'd have one in a second. Love my foot control TM's. Unfortunately the electric foot control steering on the salt water models is not as responsive and is louder than the regular freshwater ones are so I only use it when I'm down at the coast.

The quick disconnect plate is really great for that.

Pretty slick. I didn't realize the intracoastal models had a recessed foot tray or is that aftermarket? I wish they would introduce a z521 intracoastal.

Re: Ranger Intracoastal z21 Pictures as requested (Bad Habit)

Recess is an option. It comes with a cover plate there and you just lift it out and pop this one in. Then if you run a non foot control salt TM you can put the cover plate back on and not have a hole to step in or around. Just Ranger covering all of the bases once again!

Man, if they would make the z521 Intracoastal they'd sell the heck out of those things, what a ship that would be!
