My tournaments start the last weekend of March and my kid will be playing soccer in April, so I'm not able to make it past the 3rd week of March. We did March 15 last time and the weather was nice.

Thanks Roger, I just hope you get better fast!! Tomorrow is our last bass tournament for the year on our local little Nebraska lake. I'll be wearing shorts. It was 86 today and the forecast high tomorrow is 77. Odds are it will be colder in March than April, but on any given block of days it can be the opposite. What was the temp for last Saturday - upper 70s? Yes there was ice on Grand as well!! Kyle who along with Edward won the Truman rally said if we really wanted catch'em good we'd come after Thanksgiving. I can say the same thing for here as well. I digress........

I do understand consensus is to do the rallies when it is warmer. I don't want to be the one guy who causes us to have the rally on a date that only works for me. We've had plenty of good people set these up over the years. Since I've been involved we've had the good fortune of Wheels/Luke, Mike Long, Chris Sostman, Barry, and then Me organizing them. Honestly if it is time for a new person to do this then I'm perfectly good with it. It honestly would not hurt my feelings. The rallies are for all of us and I'm good with what ever the group of core attendees wants. If it is time for me to pass the keys to someone else just let me know. After all many of you put more work into it than I do. Look at the effort Clyde and Cheryl put into this last one. Melvin, Pete, and others have done the same in past rallies. The O's basically fed us for 2-days!

I don't care when you have it, really, you have to do what you have to do but as for me, March isn't good and quite honestly, I may never fish another one so it isn't about me, I'm sure it will be a great rally regardless.......
