Built by Tim Scott in fordyce Ark. Mostly duck boats for timber hunting.most of them have a narrow beam width to fit between trees. 8 degree V hull. They will fly with a little HP , my 656 (16x56) will gps 31 with a Merc 25 4stroke.

This thread got me thinking, I've got a 1751 Excel and absolutely love the boat. I'm running a 50 hp E-tec and running light, I'm topping out at about 30-31 GPS (Helix 5). I've always thought it should go faster than that since I used to have a 16 ft flat with a 25 hp Nissan that'd touch 30 every now and then. That being said, when I'm weighted down, there's very little drop off, maybe down to 28-29 with 4 hunters, dog and gear. Any thoughts on if it should be going faster or does that sound bout right? All I know on the prop is that it has 3 blades, no clue on pitch.
Is there a pic of the boat ? All I see is a dot or is it camo ? Lol

I checked in to them after this post first went up and found they have a boat more pointed at fishing than duck hunting but you could still hunt out of it.
I talked with two dealers about them for pricing and the boats were a little spendy for what they are. The interesting thing is that both dealers were really impressed with the build quality of the boat but less than impressed with the post sale customer service from the company.
