Anybody tried a fury 4 blade on a 211r yet? Just curious how it what run
Im going to try and get my hands on one soon to check it out myself.
I ran a 24p fury 4 a few weeks ago on my 2014 211r with a 250 pro xs. Full tank, full livewells, 2 fat guys, twin 12' talons, 94 degrees and humid.
67.5 mph @ 5650 rpms. Holeshot was really good, mid range decent, top end not so good, and handling was incredible. Not as fast as the the fury 3 blade but handles a load better. Im going to run it again this weekend now that it's cooler. I'll post results
If i get a day off this sunday i will go run mine. I got my 25p in monday. Will post results.
I ran a 25P Fury 4 Sunday with the same load as above but the temperature was in the mid 70's. 70.1 mph @ 5750 rpms. 2" below pad. Holeshot was good. The 12' Talons really hurt my top end numbers
Finally got a chance to try my 25P fury 4 with a load. Two people with gear and a 90 qt ice chest with ice, 1/2 tank of fuel. No plugs in the prop. Temperature around 60 degrees. 71.1 mph @ 5850 rpms. Holeshot is phenomenal. It also bites very good in turns and in rough water. Not sure about prop to pad all i can tell you is that i found it wanted to be higher because when i saw that speed i was at 18 on my Atlas jackplate gauge. Prop is worth every penny. I will try and experiment with adding some plugs to maybe see if will make a difference.
Anyone have a clue how this prop would work on an 08 211 with a ETEC 225 HO? Should see 65 no?
If your dialed in with your best 3 blade figure 2-4mph slower using a 4 blade. I actually really liked my raker I had when I ran a HO
Nitro z21
I'm currently running 27 pitch Fury 3 blade, top end is good but my hole shot can be pretty slow when loaded down. This is what my boat came with, anyone else previously or currently running the same?
a 27 Fury is a giant wheel for your rig. What do you see on the top end for RPM? I ran 25, and 26 Fury on Basscat Puma with 250 Pro XS. I needed the 25 all but a few weeks out of the year. I would think a 25 Fury would be the right prop for your 211..
In the hot weather you could run a 25 for better hole shot. My best loaded speeds with Puma FTD 250 Pro XS were 74-75. Empty 77-78. Sounds like your prop does a good job in general though. I tried a 26 Bravo that was great out of the hole but hit a wall at 71 MPH. I run a 24 on my V20 250 SHO combo. It's a good all around prop for that set up.
I currently run a 26P Trophy 4 Blade with a heavily loaded 08 211 and a 225 ETEC HO, I've never run a 3 blade as I need the hole shot. I can see 62-63 out of my rig fully loaded...would I stay with a 26P if I move to the the fury 4 or change pitch? I would love to be able to hit 65-66mph.
I have run a 3 blade fury since 2007, and had previously run 26 trophy props. The hole shot with a fury was better then any trophy I ever ran. What rpm are you turning at you max speed?

I would try a 26 Pitch Fury 3 blade. With 13% slip you should see 67 MPH with that prop at 5800 RPM. I say try the 3 blade because someone around here is bound to have one to try. I have a 25P yamaha T1 (3 blade large diameter prop) you could try if you want. It looks like your 26 trophy may be a little dinged as well, because a speed calculator shows over 18% slip at 5800 RPM.
On your V20 with the bravo did you have the prop with 8 holes and if you did how many holes did you block off?? Ty
The 26 bravo I ran was on a 250 Pro XS basscat set up. Ithe had 8 holes. None were plugged.
