    Short shaft/ long shaft

    I have a hydra skiff center console, it has a 115 long shaft evinrude on it, I have a mercury short shaft that I would like to put on it.
    My question is will the short shaft motor work in place of the long shaft? Thanks

    What is the transom height? The Evinrude should be a 20" shaft length.

    Im not sure about the transom, but the rude is the long shaft! The merc has a bass mid section on it, wondering if it would work on the center console.
