    10' Talon Second Stage "Stuck"

Second stage on one of my 10' Talons is stuck in the deployed position. The third stage and the spike are operating normally. What should happen is the spike retracts into the second stage, then the second stage retracts into the third stage, and then the third stage retracts into the housing.

What mine is doing is this: the spike retracts into the second stage, the third stage retracts into the housing, three beeps, second stage never moves.

    Anyone have this issue before?

Not like that. I had one with deploying problem and after a cleaning and applying silicon spray, then all was good.

I would try to manually retract it, and then see if it works normally.

Tried that; second stage will not even move manually.

Should be under warranty, I would think. Hopefully there is a repair place close to you. Let us know what you find.

Had the same issue with one of mine took it to the shop and they ha to put all new slides in it. whatever that means? he told me there was white oxidation through the whole thing like it was in salt water. it was only 4 months old and never saw salt water of any kind. I now have it back and seems to work fine.

Sorry for the delayed post. Issue resolved. One of the screws holding one of the slid gibs began backing out. This caused enough tension to break a pulley bracket. All fixed and all under warranty.
