721 Upgrades

I'm in the process of pricing out a 2017 721 Pro XP. I've added a lot of upgrades, and one of the ones that a dealer just recommended was the dual dash shroud. He said it would make it easier if I ever got another graph and I could mount the smartcraft gauge right in the middle. I've seen a lot of folks commenting on the fact that they are upgrading the shroud on a 721, but I'm wondering if anyone has a picture of this and/or can comment on the benefit of of going that direction.

On another note, here's what I'm planning to add...let me know if I've missed anything I'm starting to get excited!

here is the shroud with one graph, its designed where you can mount the gimbal right to the shroud. you would need additional support for 2 but its a very nice setup and allows for more gauges

36 volt trolling motor is a must have IMO. Also, I would recommend a Hamby's instead of a peel and stick.

Make sure you get the Merc monitor mounted on the dash, like the picture above (white cover). Mine came mounted down below the controls. I have seen others that way as well. I don't need a tach since I have that info on the Smartcraft anyway, along with other vital info.

36 volt trolling motor for sure with a 4 bank charger. I would get that new dash shroud. Also, if your looking to budget a little I would drop the f2 jack and winch and the stainless package. That stainless stuff is going to get scratched up pretty easy

Make sure you get the directional antenna for your hummingbirds GPS.

It is on the 721. It's standard on the 9s

I've been pricing boats out with the Ultrex...forgot to mention that. All the dealers I've talked to tell me the pricing isn't final on them though.

This is old vs new on a 2014 721. I need to sell the old one and BBT mount but here is exactly what it will look like If you need guages its about 450. just the 921 dual unit shroud is 250. I have the invoice here.

I ordered one on my 920 elite 2 months ago and it was a $225 upgrade.
