OK guys just got back from the lake. Here is the comparison.

    03 stratos 201 pro xl 250 yamaha 3.1L
    26p fury
    3.5" below pad
    Myself 375lbs
    Full tank of gas
    75.2 5800
Holeshot just over 3 seconds 4200 rpms.

    26p fury 4
    3.5" below pad
    Myself 375lbs
    Full tank of gas
    72 mph 6000
Holeshot around 4 secones at 4000 rpms

The fury 4 has incredible midrange and turns on a dime. The fury4 top end is not as fast as the fury but that's expected. All in all I have a lot of gear and carrying that load this prop does well. This is the first 4 blade prop that will power load my boat. The 8 pvs holes is nice but I think they put them in the wrong location. They should be stacked like the bravo's not horizontal. I ran it with all 8 holes open. I kinda wish they had a 27 pitch I think that would be perfect for my setup. All in all, if you carry a lot of equipment and a heavy load this is the prop for you. Hope this helps you guys with your decision.

That looks awesome. You can always send it to Mark to make it a 27P!

That's what I'm gonna do. I think the 26 needs added cup and I think it will run 75-77.

Try sending them to Matt Lahiti. He did really great work on a couple furys of mine! completely changed how the prop ran... it was incredible!

It sounds like you’re pretty high on the prop but it diminishes your performance. I’m considering a pitch for pitch swap from the Fury 3 to the 4 to gain holeshot after the addition of talons, but based on your numbers it appears your holeshot suffered? I thought a 4 blade is supposed to help the holeshot?

If you're running all holes open have you tried plugging them? I'm running a 25 Tempest and hit a stump once and it blew out my plugs, could not get on plane. Replaced the plugs made a world of difference. BTW using med plugs

If you have good water pressure dont be afraid to go to 3" from my experience w the fury 4 on my boat you can run it pretty high compared to the fury 3.

Bubba I forgot on your other 201-pro you ran a 12" jackplate? Am running a 6" slidemaster and was thinking of going to a 12" jackplate. Just concerned with a 12" jackplate creating stress on transom. Any thoughts.
    Thanks
