The "Official What Are Your Numbers" Post!!

Okay.. someone had the great idea (might have been LarsenNET?) at the Bull Shoals Rally that we should have a post where everyone could post their numbers and setup. So, with that in mind, we need to make sure it is in a consistent format so that all the information needed is put on there.

Here is a recommended format for information that is useful in dealing with your boat setup. The thought is that these numbers will be useful to others with new boats in getting their rigs setup.

My recommendation would be to copy/paste the below format into your post and just change what is filled in to your specs:

    EXAMPLE:

    Boat: 2005 Ranger XYZ
    Motor: 2005 Mercury XXX
    Jackplate: Rite Hite 6"
Prop: Mercury Tempest 27", one plug removed
Setting to Pad: 3 1/2" below pad
Top GPS Speed: 72.3 mph with full tanks, medium load
Average GPS Speed: 70.1 with full tourney load
    RPMs: 6000
Notes: Prop worked by Mr. XXX; removed plug from prop for better holeshot

If there is anything else that should be included, send me an IM and let me know.

If not, then let's see your numbers!

    85 340v
    XR2 with a 6" hydraulic jackplate
    25" Laser ll prop
    Gps 70.7 mph*

One week later with 90 degree water temp and 100 degree air temp according to my
    cousin's graph.
    GPS 68.4 mph
    same prop
The asterisk is because I was on a different lake that had cooler water.

This was my first year with the boat and with another season's worth of seat time, I think there's a few MPH more to be had without BB work on the prop.

    merc proxs 250
hyd jack not sure of prop height
    25p Fury
40 gallons, tourney load with partner weight of guys, 430lbs
73.1 we were boat one and good water conditions. Normally run 70-71 out of this tourney.
I did hit 73.9 in November in a solo tourney out of same
I have been told. That the lower unit on my boat has been the best out of the bunch on the pro xs. I think they only used a couple of yrs. not sure why they changed. I definitely have one of the fastest z521 of I have heard of.

Boat: 2012 Ranger Z521 Single Console
Motor: 2012 Mercury 250 Pro XS
    Jackplate: Atlas 10"
Prop: Mercury Fury 24p", no plugs. Customized by ? for bow lift
    Setting to Pad: Unsure
Top GPS Speed: 71.0 mph with 2x 1/4 tanks, medium load
Average GPS Speed: Unknown with full load
    RPMs: 6000
Notes: I'm concerned that I'm going to overspin that prop. Might have to go to a Fury 25p.
I need a spare prop also, Might go with a standard 24p Fury.
    Looking for a new boat!
