    Still getting the hang of my new-to-me boat. So far:

    Boat: 2003 Ranger 521DVX
    Motor: 2004 Evinrude 225HO
    Jackplate: Bobs Hydraulic 6"
    Prop: Mercury Tempest 26, all plugs removed
    Setting to Pad: on the fly depending on load, water
    Top GPS Speed: 72.2 mph, probably a little more can be squeezed out, with medium load
    Average GPS Speed: 71.0 with full tourney load
    RPMs: 5800
    Notes: no prop work

    Top GPS Speed: 73.04 mph with full tanks, 2 people(2 X 190lbs), medium-heavy load (GPS reading off a GlobalMap 3500C)
    Average GPS Speed: in between 71-72 with full tourney load
    RPMs: 5950
    Notes: Prop not worked, Full deck option, MinnKota 101 US


    update on prop tests - full gas, full tackle, riding alone

    - 26 Bravo 1 B&B'd by Croxton with dual PVS
    2 full and 2 small plugs in
    74.2 @ 5900 rpm

    -Average GPS Speed: 65.7 with full tourney load
    -RPMs: 5800
    -Notes: I run a 25 in cooler weather and the 24 in the summer.


    4 Blade setup

    -Boat: 1992 Ranger 392V
    -Motor: 1992 Johnson 200 Limited Edition
    -Jackplate: Slidemaster 10"
    -Prop: Turbo 2+2 24", over hub exhaust
    -Setting to Pad: 3" below pad
    -Top GPS Speed: 66.7 mph with full tanks, medium load
    -Average GPS Speed: 65.3 with full tourney load
    -RPMs: 5800-5900
    -Notes: Great prop and had similar results with a Trophy 24. Trophy got me 1 mph more and had a little more left in it for tuning where the Turbo was maxed out.

    Ok here are my new numbers, just got the new motor and still dialing it in.

    Boat: 2002 Ranger 205 DVS
    Motor: 2006 Etec 225 HO
    Jackplate: Bob's Hyd 6"
    Prop: Raker II 26P
    Setting to Pad: 3 1/2" below pad
    Top GPS Speed: 73.6 Full tank with just me
    Average GPS Speed: 69.9 2 people, tournament load
    RPMs: 5800
    Notes: The hole shot is not the best, but it gets going quick, and oh soooooo quiet and smooth...

    5500ish rpms
    This boat jumps out of the hole fast.
    I'm very pleased with peformance and I havn't done anything.
