might check and see if the tray is already in there? sometime back then, they were molded in but not open?

Your boat doesn’t have the tray underneath. Pretty sure that started with the 188/198 series around 2006. Pete’s install should be similar to yours. There are 5 other threads in the maintenance sticky above.

I had a 487 and put one in. You will have to cut into your front storage a little
I had a '07 z20 that had the tray under the carpet.
Not sure when they started doing them but I'm
pretty sure none of the 4 series had them.
