Does the Ultrex have the same mounting bracket as the Fortrex?
Yes and no. A Fortrex can be put on the Ultrex bracket but the reverse may not be true. There was a running change on the Ultrex so the head that mounts into the bracket might have raised areas that keep it from seating right on the Fotrex or early Ultrex mounting brackets.Originally Posted by Thomas H

It will be fine. I put my spotlight transducer on mine just like any other trolling motor. Just left a little more slack for turning
I put the lowrance hdi transducer on my Ultrex with no problems. I also used the transducer shield and saver with it.

They do not fit. You will need to modify the front panel for it to be able to fit.
