No the Minn Kota PC series chargers only charge using AC power. You will need the DC style charger from Minn Kota for a charge on the run type setup. However the only approved charge on the run style charge for the two lithium batteries mentioned above is the Stealth Chargers. But if you have the concern of draining your batteries down throughout the day we need to get you into a larger AH rated battery. (example the RB-100) 100ah battery with 240 minute reserve @ 25amps.

I doubt I'd need that. Now nowing my current charger doesn't charge while running. I have 3 Deka series 27 and those last me all day, and I'm talking about a 12 hr day. When I do go lithium I'd probably go with the 75 amp hrs and have more than enough juice.

I run three 80amp ones in a 21' Stroker. with 36V motorguide. They are the group 31 equivalent, and I fish all conditions. So far no problems.
I think Troy has the 100 am series, and mainly fishes Lanier. I'll bet Troy never gets them down past 20% discharge.
Answered your question. If you were just curious, no problem. Got a price (first one) from 'Smart Battery' for 3- 100AH Lithiums and a Charger for $3600 shipped.

When i talked to the guy with Relion I was told my current Powermania A/C charger and my Yandina Trollbridge setup would work fine with his batteries.

    Just another data point.

Added four 100ah ReLion batteries to my boat. Sent my Dualpro PS4 back to the factory to get it set to get the max charge in my lithiums. Really like seeing that voltage stay pegged all day.

Having a Champ as well, that doesn't need to ride any lower at the stern, I'd love for these to become more affordable. Just no where near in the budget at this point....

I don't even keep my charger in the boat anymore, because it's not necessary and only adds weight.

    Let see
I pulled out of the boat
    One deka 27M6 57.5Lb
    three DC311DT 60.0Lb
One dual Pro 4 bank 29.8Lb

    Thats 267.3 Lbs

    I added a M3140-36 30.3Lb
    M3110-12 31Lb
    Stealth on AC/DC charger 10.0Lb
    That totals 71.3Lb

That is 196 pounds out of the boat, How does your boat perform with 2 guys vs 3??

Hickory, that makes me wonder if a single 3160-24 and the stealth charger would work for me.

2x 60lb batteries out and 1 30lb battery in, saving 90lbs right there sounds like a good idea with a Champion. Good way to offset weight for poles eventually...

That is exactly what I did. I took out batteries that weighed 210-235lbs, charger (22lb) and put 12ft talons on the boat. My relions weigh less than 90lbs.
