    921 Photos

Hey, heard from a dealer that the new 921 may have a middle seat. Is this an option or has it replaced the storage compartment? Or perhaps this is false.....any pics of the cockpit area would help clarify or if anyone knows for sure, let me know.

Would prefer that as an option for guiding as I typically take two people....thanks in advance for any details.

If the 921 is the same as the 721, the middle seat is an option. The boat still comes with the center storage. You remove the center console with a few screws and the bottom of the seat slides in and the back slides down and snaps in.

Takes 3 minutes to do and the center seat is great when you need it. It also makes the boat a lot prettier!

Also, it comes out in 30 seconds so you can put it on the passenger seat while fishing do you can avoid stepping on it when going to the rear.

All the Phoenix models are 'modular' so to speak. The components (seats, console ect.) from one fit in all. The center seat would work in my boat (18'r) as would the center glove box, consoles ect ect from the others. This is one reason why Phoenix is able to keep prices down by engineering the boats to accept the same components rather that a 'one' off for the 921 only.

Smart, lean manufacturing w/ some TN pride!

It is a two piece seat. The back slides in from the top, and has a strap with a snap to secure it. The seat bottom slides in from the front. It will not come out unless you pull it back out.

Rob, Go to the top of the Phoenix Board....Download the Options List. It will help you remember the things you'll forget when you go to order it.

    Good luck in your purchase.

The bottom gets captured by the other seats, The top gets captured also but also needs the back strap and snap attached...

    Works great!
