    I have a 6' light Falcon Original that I use to cast jigs for crappie, I'm sure it would make a great bluegill rod as well. I also use my 6'9" light Falcon Low Rider 20 (drop shot model) to cast jigs for crappie.

    BPS microlites for me , too. great rods for the money. worth every penny.

    Thats what i use ,nice rods for the money.But while fishing.I have caught some nice bass on the set-up.
    Thinking about get some of the med-light Wild series rods just in case , a bass or white perch hit the lure .

    I'm ordering a Salters jigging pole and going back old school on them this year. 3.9oz for a 10ft and dropping and pitching are a breeze with 10 eyes on the rod.http://www.saltersjigginpole.com
