Ranger Trail jack

My Ranger jack was side mounted.

I went through a couple jacks, until I read in here about drilling a hole in the inside tube to be able to oil up the jack screw. Had no problems after that and it worked like never before. I would at least try this before buying a new one. Take the proceeds and buy crankbaits.

Can you or someone else give more detail on this as it might work for me. Thanks!

thanks all, i am heading to the dealer in the morning to pick up the right one. Spend a couple of bucks, but then have peace of mind it will work for a year. :)

Too bad they didn't have one in stock for my 2011 Z519 yesterday. It would have been the perfect opportunity for me to get mine too. But I probably should have called a week ago to see if they had one in stock.

No you are correct it is a ranger item only. I called Dutton & Lainson and it is specifically built for Ranger by them and can only be purchased from Ranger. I bought one 3 weeks ago shipped to VA was $65.

Did you order it directly from Ranger or from a local dealer? What information do they ask for (e.g. the Rangertrail trailer Serial Number)? Thanks.

I have a 2015 RangerTrail with the center Jack. I have never liked it since day one !! I bought a Fulton F-2 Jack and Mounting plate. I sandwiched it on the outside frame and have been 100% satisfied ever since. It is SOOOOO much easier to raise and lower, plus it is much easier to maneuver my tandem axle trailer when needed to move it a little.

If you really want the issue fixed do this. I know it don't look perfect but trust me. It is a pleasure running this jack.
