my first week as a phoenix owner (pic heavy)

Started last Friday with a stop at Limit Out Marine to pick up our 719 thanks again to Russ Baker and his staff, Chris and Dan spent about an hour going over the boat with me and answering any questions I had.

We left with the boat and headed straight for our trailer we keep parked at mardon resort on potholes reservior, 29,000 acres of fishing paradise. After the 4 hour drive we spent the rest of the evening loading the gear in the boat and putting the registration numbers on it.

we spent all week fishing in the mornings and evenings and relaxing on the beach in the afternoons. My wife really got into the fishing and she caught some nice smallies.

We did alot of riding around enjoying the boat and scenery.

We got home early this afternoon and got everthing cleaned up and ready to fish a local lake tomorrow and back to work and real life on Monday. Thanks for looking.

It was about 90 degrees over there. Low 70's here at home. We are not really having a summer here on the west side of the state. I will bet we have only seen 80 degrees here a couple days all summer. the lake our trailer is at is on the east side of the state that is hotter and dryer.

Re: my first week as a phoenix owner (riverrock)

Jim...You'll definitely want to get behind the wheel of one of these birds and put it through the paces before buying another boat. They ride as solid as any boat I've had. Put it to the test today with 15-20 mph winds and heavy boat chop on a shallow lake. Rend lake is a little worse that Kentucky lake when it kicks up. I had to slow it down to 45-55 through the white-caps and prop waves created by so many "useless" boats on the water. "Useless" - any boat without a trolling motor).

Re: my first week as a phoenix owner (WaYoop)

Those deer in the picture I'm sure were taken at Potholes Res. in Washington State. This is known as the Desert 1A section and is extremely limited in number of permits a year given out. Less than 25 total, bow, muzzleloader, modern and late. It keeps the population healthy and with good size. The fun part of fishing potholes in the "dunes" is running into deer like that on a small sand dune island. I have seen a bachelor herd of bucks that size on a dune that was maybe 100' x 50' and it was 6 bucks all huddled under a few willow bushes.

As for the colors on that boat, silver fire, phoenix red, and forgot what the black was, either straight black or night fire. The silver red is beautiful in the sun as it get's this sick pearlized pink to purple undertone to the silver.

    Hope you enjoyed the boat.

Congrats! Looks identical to my 618.

Great that the whole family is into the fun!

    Awesome bucks!

Now that truck -- looks like it could use some red and black wavy stripes on it
