    Any word yet...

When mercury plans to release a 150 pro xs 4s.

What would be different on a Pro XS then the 3.0 litre 150 4/S that is currently available?

Hopefully the same differences as the 115 four-stroke and the 115 Pro-XS four stroke...

I don't see much room for improvement over the standard 150 besides adding pro xs stickers.

The only way you could possibly improve the current 150 4-stroke would be to add 25 horsepower and put 175 stickers on it.....and rumor has it that's in the works!

"Rumor". No concrete evidence, as of yet.

    Heard the 150 is closer to a 175 than a 150. Will a 175 be
    closer to a 200 than the 175?

The 150 is on the strong side of the 10% allowance in propshaft HP (MOST of Mercury's engines are on the strong side).

IF (or when) a 175hp model is released, I would not expect that it would be on the weak side of the rated HP.

At this point would it be February 2017 before we saw a new model?

Traditionally they've released new products at the Miami Boat Show.
