    USA My new toy

Well finally got all my electronics installed and got her washed up for some pics. Absolutely love this boat!! Best handling 17 footer I've ever been in. Added a motorguide xi5 80lb and duel Lowrance Elite 7 ti's. For a 2000 this boat is super clean, could pass for a 5 year old boat. Looks gorgeous behind my GMC too lol.

nice boat, have you used the Elite 7 ti's yet, if so how do you like them, if not how about a update on them, thought about upgrading to them this winter

So far I like them, they're nice finders. Touchscreen, can control the motorguide xi5, navionics+, I opted for totalscan transducers on both. Ordered the trolling motor mount and jack plate mounts from transducersaversandshields.com. Still waiting for my jack plate to arrive so I'm only using the console mounted one as a navigation guide only till it ships out. Totalscan is nice chirp, down imaging and side imaging all in one.

Well with 2 people full gear and a full livewell it runs 46 @ 4900 rpm. Has a trophy plus 23 4 blade on it now, once my 6" jack plate comes in I'm gonna try a new prop to get a few more rpm's. I think after a jack plate and new prop 50+ mph should be achievable. Not sure what prop I should go with though. Anyone have any suggestions?

For prop advice you may want to call Mark Croxton. Or post that question onon the Prop forum.

Congrats. I like your style. I have a 171 (currently for sale) myself which is also pulled by a GMC All Terrain.
