FINALLY!! 721/SHO is Home - Comprehensive photos (Warning - Heavy Pics)

After 14 weeks the wait is finally over!! Thank you to Jr, Rob, and everyone else at Sportsman Center for all of their hard work and great customer service. I spent a couple of days on KY lake over the weekend to begin to get acclimated - what a blast! I am in love with this boat. I took lots of pics and attached them here - I tried to take the kind of pictures that I would have found helpful when I was mulling over ordering a 721. Here are the specs:

Badass! Looks great! I like the attention to detail with the blue painted shock. That's nice! I'm not too crazy about the bulky blocky lowrance sirus antenna though, do they catch great signal like the HB pucks so that they can be hidden?

As for the ipod port, is that split foam that holds the ipod in and surrounds it for the ride? (the white stuff) As well, is that interchangeable for other models or even an iphone 4?

Not sure about the reception on the LWX-1, but the white around where the ipod goes is plastic. The Sonic Hub comes with 9 or 10 adapters and will fit anything Apple makes (handhelds). It also will take other MP3 players and usb drives.

That's pretty sweet about the ipod/mp3 port. Love the colors! You get that from Jr. I take it from the custom decals they do on the step? He's "alright" people I guess.

    Second from the end:

Looks like you spent too much on the boat if you have to pull it with that hog.

Beautiful boat though! I wouldnt mind somthing similar with a black bottom. That blue is a dream though for those of us that like blue.

Excellent boat and presentation. I struggled with this color scheme when I bought mine. I was going to go with this or a red scheme and went with the red. This was my favorite blue one as I was looking for a lot of white to deal with the Texas heat.

Beautiful boat! I wish you the best.

Keep in touch to compare notes on the SHO and performance.

DAAAYYYUUUUUMMMM!!!!!!!! Son that looks absolutely fantastic!

Love the snake oil that you have on those tires too! Careful that stuff will oil slick when you back that bad boy in and get on your fenders and you might go for a ride! Been there done that! LOL!

Very well done and a super tasteful looking rig you have there. Enjoy it for years to come!

    Son! she's gorgeous. Congrats man.

Did the factory rigged the sonic hub system or the dealer? Do you know how the wires are routed?

Funny you should ask. The factory rigged it but Lowrance makes some of the instructions a little...let's say...vague. Here is a note I sent to the factory this morning so they can correct on the shop floor:

"Hi guys – wanted to drop you a line so you can tell the guys out on the shop floor…

When you have the LWX-1 and the Sonic Hub – the SH requires a source input from each of the audio/data outputs on the boat. What was missing was a cable from the LWX-1 interface box to the rear of the SH. I went to Radio Shack and purchased a cable that consisted of a 1/8" (male) stereo headphone jack on one end and L/R (male) RCA jacks on the other end. The 1/8" end plugs into the bottom of the LWX-1 interface box (you must remove a little rubber grommet first) and the RCA jacks plug into the bottom of the SH audio server in the "SAT IN" location.

I have attached some pics of everything referenced above – the Sonic Hub installation guide has a somewhat misleading/crappy depiction of this on page 16."

    Cable from Radio Shack:

Open SAT IN Ports on Back of Sonic Hub:

RCA jacks in the SAT IN Females:

1/8" headphone Jack in bottom of LWX-1 Interface Unit (located in driver console):

Customer service is top-notch at Phoenix and I'm sure they will immediately correct the issue when installing this system in the future. Lowrance could do a better job of highlighting all of the necessary connections and cables (this one is not supplied by Lowrance, nor is an FM antenna).

Nathan; you did very well, great looking rig. We are not that far apart, so any questions with your rig just let me know if you can not get ahold of Junior.
When I get mine we will have to make sure we both go to Barren at the same time boy will the give some ppl neck problems. Love the color combo, even tho I am partial to red. Only thing not appealing to me is the music center, my self I get on the water to relax and don't much care for the tunes as I lesson to natures music, but then again I am kinda ol fashion Very nice job all around, and know you are just going to love the 721 especially on KY lake if the wind get up.
