    Wanting to try a RT178 or RT188

I'm wanting to give the ranger tin a go. I'm finally leaving my 1972 Kenzie Kraft lol. I have questions on stability for a big boy. I'm 300# plus.
my dads 19 ft Xpress handles me well. Just curious on how the Rangers do with that much weight.
Also, if there is anyone in the Tulsa area that wouldn't mind me stepping in theirs for a few minutes one weekend that would be great!

300 lbs will not be an issue. I'm 6' 4" and pushing 300 and my tournament partner is 240-250. Very stable platform to fish from by myself or with him in the front of the boat. Hopefully you can find someone close by to get out in a RT with. My dealer actually did a on the water boat show this summer. They had 10-12 different boats for people to get in to check out and even test drive. I had lots of questions since I was going from a 198VX glass Ranger to a tin boat. But being able to get out in one and drive it answered them all.

IF you are satisfied with the stability of the xpress 19 you will be satisfied with the stability of any of the 90"+ beam tins most definitely including the two boats that you are looking at.

Just 300?... Shouldn't be a problem at all. I've had me,3 teenage boys and my wife in mine all at the same time... Probably close to 900 pounds
