    73sv wont read sd card

    My garmin 73sv says insert sd card after i just put one in. Any help would be great.

    what size?

    Try formatting it on your PC to FAT32

    my 73 did this after formatting ect... i had to turn it on and off a few times.. like the 3rd time when it powered up it read the update

    It was the sd card. I took the one out of my gopro and put it in and it was fine. I live on a 600 acre lake that has not been mapped and the quickdraw is gonna be nice when I get this whole thing mapped out.
