USA 2000 Champion 171 DC specs?

Hello guy a newbie here with my first post about my first Champion. I just purchased a 2000 171 DC but haven't picked it up yet (waiting for title). Anyhow I was wondering if anyone knows a thread or site I could find the complete specs of the 2000 171DC model. I've found a spec here and there but I can't find a complete list. Thanks in advance!

Welcome....and congrats on a fine rig!

I have the brochure for the 2000 models. By "complete list", I am not sure what you mean, but I can give you hp range, length, beam and fuel and livewell capacities. Will that help?

Thanks a bunch Lea, I'll make sure to post some pics as soon as I pick it up. It's a beautiful boat, black on top and dark charcoal on the bottom. I seem to have gotten a decent deal so I'm excited to hit the water. If you didn't know what year it was you would think it's only a few years old, it's spotless!! Has a 115 merc on her so should be a nice package. Might repower over the winter to a 140 Suzuki, have a Suzuki on my 14' Lowe and it's a great 4 stroker.

Sounds good!!! I had a 110 on my 1990 176, and it was a fun performer! Suzi has a good rep...esp if you have a dealer close by, just in case you need parts...

Brochures usually mean dry weight unless otherwise stated. Weights shown were often incorrect. No way to know how accurate yours or the 171 and others listed weights are. Other than stripping the boat of all gear and going to a weigh station. Then subtracting trailer weight as well as motor weight, etc.

I also have a 2000 Champion 171 DC (Anniversary Edition). Specs above seem to be correct. You can fit 8 foot rods with rod socks and no rod tubes. Enjoy the boat. Skipped work and caught a few last Friday:

thats nice to know 8 footers will fit! What size motor do you have on yours? One I'm getting has a 115 merc 2 stroke, just wondering what type of speed I'll get out of it. Doesn't have a jack plate on it so I'll probably add one when I pick it up. Looks like a nice lake you were on in that video.

Manuals are not model specific. What year is your 171? Someone here might be able to help.

    Not model specific....

Hopefully, someone will have a manual for 1997 or a year or two before or after...

Please post your 2000 171 brochure
I have a just purchased a cherry 1997 with 135 Mariner and trying to get information on the boat.
Been looking for an owners manual with no luck.
    Question
The small well behind drivers seat has an aerator in it.
Is this a live bait well ?
Also live well switch below throttle control.
    Does it turn, or slide?
Any help will be sincerely appreciated.
Any way to upload pictures on this site
