If I bought a new one of these boats...one of the first things and maybe THE first thing I would do is change the lights to LED. To me it is a safety issue. I changed to LED maybe 3-4 years ago and have not had even ONE problem with them. They are brighter and more dependable. Picture yourself driving home at night in the rain pulling your trailer with the run and brake lights out and not know it. The original lights were always blowing out or corroding the sockets. The LEDs are just not that expensive not to change them. They should come stock with LEDs, but it is what it is.

Ranger contracted EZ Loader to make their Aluminum boat trailers mid summer this year. EZ Loader made some improvements including LED lights so since then they should be standard. I replaced the LED tail lights on my trailer with ones that have integrated backup lights so I have a pair of 6 inch oval tail lights that you can have for the cost of freight, probably less than $10. PM me if you want them.

My 2019 trailer is all LED. I still unplug them when I get to the ramp from years of habit.

Yea me to. Beside ever have your 7 pin connector stolen at the ramp. I have it’s not much fun waiting on someone to bring you one.
