Id say faster than that... I have a 482V without the setback (1250 lbs dry) but similar hull, 6"jack plate with a 150 ProV and have had her up to 63 MPH. Fully loaded around 58-59.

Setup right with a 6" plate and correct prop 60 +\-
Roger Rose had a 482vs 150 rig that would run +60 loaded,
    I have a 481vs that will run 66-67 fully loaded with a 175

Darryl is correct. My 482 VS would run right at 64 gps. It was sitting on a 6" Slidemaster Plate and spinning a 24" Fury..................Engine was a Johnson FastStrike 150.................Damn fine boat and still wish it was sitting in my garage......................RR

Don't mean to hijack, but wow! What prop are you running? I've got a nicked up prop on mine now and no jack plate (6" jack plate is sitting waiting to be installed) and I can usually get 57-58 out of mine with a 175 XRi EFI. I've got an older 4-blade prop which I believe is a 23x14 Predator and shoot a helluva rooster tail approaching 5900 RPM (which I know is too much--I don't get on it really ever for that exact reason) so I know there's more there, but I was figuring on 63-64 with a new prop and jack plate installed. As I mentioned the old prop is also in bad shape.

a40 and a45 tempest have run best where I have seen just over 70 alone and light in cool temps..currently have a 25 fury with cup added that runs really good..68-69 ish alone before it got so hot
without a plate you cannot get the motor to the height it needs to be on these hulls to really get them running as they can
