bow acc switch

im thinking about connecting my bow hds 9 to the acc switch. can i leave the ground wire from the lowrance power plug , going straight to the factory ground/power board? or do i have to ground from the acc switch? its a 2016 518c i thanks

You can use the same ground. But I would leave it like it is. The Acc outputs are only rated for 5amp nominal and depending on size unit you have, they may not carry it. There also the chance of having interface on your unit when other devices are running, bilge pump, aerator, etc.
