I don't even think there are 250 props I would consider running on my rig. That's trying everything LOL

the prop you have is an O/T not an x-O/T

works very well on fishing loaded 2002/3's with high strung 2.5's without the flare ring and extra holes drilled. That's gonna be a bear to move with those mods on that prop. Just doesn't fit any application I can think of.

The bigger boats with 3l power like the x's and extra holes but no the little boats.

No.... It's not.... OT means "Over and Through" exhaust small tube propeller..... Like a trophy.

This is the full barrel prop... Your sure not teaching anybody anything about props.

I would sure hope so !!!!
250 props.. sounds like some of my fish stories.... Surprised there are any threads left on your prop shaft.. how many brass nylock nuts did that take for 250 + prop changes

I only replaced my OX66 LU with an HPDI LU because he OX66 LU blows out at 82.6-83 mph. Both have 1.75 gears. That's what I want for a 22ft fishing boat with a load.

Might have better results on offshore only. It's not a prop that's designed for outboards. Anyone running 3 liter would need a flo torque fat shaft compatable hub

Some still have older boats/motors with a reg shaft... Also fits Yamaha. Maybe I should list it on S&F...

Well I went back thru my data and believe I have run at least 25 diff props at home. The thru hubs have had the barrels changed many times and venting changed many times as well as been worked at least once. The over hubs have been worked at least once so if you count all that i'm not sure how many different configurations I have tried. Then throw in the props at the rallies and who knows, i'm sure it is no where close to what Mike has run but it's a lot and takes a ton of time and gas. Mike, you the man when it comes to props. If that 28 was a flow torque we would probably be trying to make a deal.

This prop actually has a really good holeshot and ran pretty fast on my boat. I tested it on a 170 acre lake and ran out of room to string it out... Just because it is labeled as a I/O prop, Don't let that discourage you from trying.... What do you think a Bravo1 was made for? I started venting Bravo1's 13-15 years ago and look what has happened....

This prop runs well on outboards....

250 props in 13 years on one boat.. Is a little hard for me to swallow.
Not sure how long your boating season is in Michigan --- but if its 9 months a year times 13 years-- that's a total of 117 months.. 250 props in 117 months --that's more than two a month.... Just the shipping on 250 props one way would make one hell of a down payment on a new boat..
I thought I was a prop whore ---Like Dean MAYBE 25 props in the last 15 years.

Nobody has to believe me... I have done lots of R&D... Running 20 props per year is easy for me to do...

For the record I have ran 8 props since May of this year and had another 3 or 4 to test but time, weather has not allowed. Just throwing that out there lol. If I go back and include last fall the total would be 11. Guess it is possible to run/test lots of props. Oh by the way that is only on my Ally. We won't count all the tests on all the new boats I sell!! lol

Guys, are you really questioning whether the moderator of the props page with close to 50,000 posts on BBC is telling the truth when he says he has tried 250 props? I live in Michigan with Mike and we do prop test days every spring and fall. I have tried 25 plus props on my XB21 and have only owned the boat for 3 boating seasons. I have tested 5-6 props in a single morning before, so why is it so hard to believe that 250 in 13 years is a stretch?

I do not... I don't have the room for a pump inside my boat and there were too many problems with the external pump models back in 2003.... So I have adjusted my manual RapidJack like a boss!

That's above normal for most Hi performance boat owners .. but believable--- most can find a couple of good props with less than half that many.
Another 225 props and you might set a new record..
I am astounded there could be 250 variations of props to fit a Yamaha on the same boat with the same motor and the same gear ratio that are worth testing.
I doubt that Darris-- Lee and Robbie combined have ran 250 different props on the same boat, motor and gear ratio combination.. And they have hydraulic J-plates.
