Tracker 175 txw – Mecury EFi 115 hp – Atlas 6´ hydralic jack plate

• Spifire alu prop 19 pitch (46mph @5800rpm) Drops 1mph with 2 persons
• Ballistic SS 21pitch x 1/8 (49,5mph @5800rpm) Drops 1mph with 2 persons
• Ballistic XL 22 pich x ½ (51mph @5500rpm) Drops 1mph with 2 persons and around 2-300 rpm. Best working prop so far.

I think motor i best around 5500 rpm.

Is it possible to get more top speed with a nother propeller with more grip but less pitch. Laser ii 21 pitch?

When im going mid speed and push full throttle the prop does not grip, it takes to accelerate slower or trim down motor.

I know Roy here has a fast tracker txw. I know that he has an optimx and mabye its not possible to compare these two engines.

I'd say your actually doing pretty good with a tin boat and a 115 efi. If anything I'd talk to Mark about working the 21 to cut down on the prop slip it has but I don't think it will gain any speed.

I think I'm doing okey too. But i think that right Prop light give me 1-2mph more... And i want that if possible.
Ballistic Prop is probably not as efficient as the laser i think

A laser II isn't a very good prop either unless you have it worked.

How are you running a 115 on a boat rated for a 75 horse outboard? I know no Tracker Marine dealer set it up that way.
