    Champ,
go to FAQ in the upper right hand corner. You should be able to find your way from there.

    Owners rigs......

Finally got the boat out (of the shed) to see what she looks like in the sun!

I really like the new seats. Great upgrade, as are all the upgrades in eaither material or build changes. Plus all the small things added since my first Bird in 2010 (and there are a lot!). I was worried a bit about the longer tackle lid exclusive to the 819/919, but it doesnt seem to be much different than the shorter lid on the 618/619/719 as far as function but more far morepractical by allowing easier access to the foward part of the compartment.

I used my RTS before, but much prefer the new system for bigger 3700's up front in addition to the normal slots in the middle. The deck of course being wider than what I had came from. It's the same length, so I didnt expect it to really feel that much bigger. I was worng! There seems like a ton more room up front with the added width.

Most of my upgrades came to the trailer. C-channel, large bow step, dual axle brakes and shocks. I thought my little 618 went down the road good, this is hands down above and beyond what it was. these upgrades are worth every dime IMO!!

I opt'd for the small gauge shroud and rpm gauge delete. I had a Merc Monitor put in its place.

I went with Garmin 840xs at the bow and helm. So far, I really like them. They have a very short learning curve IMO and the mapping is great! I have yet to play with the down/sidevue. I had the factory install the bow unit with one of their mounts. I went with a Precison Sonar unit at the helm. If you can use a hand drill, you can install this mount. On my last rig, I made my own using the factory gimble mount and some machined base plate and back-up plates. I had some vibraton at certain rpm's that was annoying. Not with the Precison mount. Its stout and looks great to boot. Great product and super easy to install.

The only thing I would change on my end, is I wished I would have made the bow wings burnt orange. I wanted it to be subtle, yet it ended up being almost unnoticable. Otherwise, I beleive for me, that I have the perfect rig! I'm happy is an understatement.

I bought her from Howard McCallister at McCallister Marine near Table Rock Lake. That guy is pure gold! The boat arrived after 7pm on Friday. He stayed and rigged it and did the paper work that night. It was after 1am that he got me on the road and headed to Henry's tournament. Both he and his mechanic deserve far more praise than just a few words on an internet forum. Just like the fella's at the factory......

    G O O D P E O P L E ! !

The black orange is subtle and the Galaxy Mist is deep and changes in different light conditions. When I walk to the shed to look at it, Im still in disbelief it is mine! I'm diggin it!

Thanks to precision sonar for a great graph mount and to Pheonix for making one heck of a boat!

This pic below shows how the colors change with the light. Top cap is GM, then top cap inlay is Blk/Org then Blk/Org under rubrail to GM again on the wings.
