2002 Mercury 200hp EFI will not get on plane

    Hello,

Does anyone know what could be causing my 2002 Mercury 200hp EFI on a 2002 BassCat Pantera Classic 19ft boat not to get over 2000rpm and on plane? It has been in the shop and the techs have not figured it out yet after 4 trips out on the water testing different prop and taking vent plugs off my current 4 blade 25 pitch prop. They say it just isn't getting full power and compression is good. Below are links to video of issue.

Thanks for the tip. They did say something about the low pressure pump acting up and they fixed that and a few bad plugs as well. Still after that not getting the right power...

Um...try a different shop. It does not sound as if these guys are the top of their game.

More than likely electrical or fuel. Check fuel lines, pump and filters first and then I would start digging into electrical problems.

Thank you all! Ended up being clogged up fuel injectors. I guess the person i bought boat from didn't ever get them cleaned.
