    Prop

    I bought an Xcursion 23RF tritoon and put a SHO 175 on it. I tried a Mirage 17 first and got 5300 rpm's max. I then tried a Mirage Plus 15 and got the same r's but lost speed. I'm looking to get 6000 r's lightweight. Anybody have a very similar rig and can give some advice on the right prop?

    I have a 23' tritoon, no lifting strakes with a Mercury 150 4 stroke. I am running a 15.3x14P Enertia. Right at 5400rpm @ 33.7mph. What diameter are you running? Decreasing pitch will raise rpm (by about 200 rpm per pitch) but could lower speed because it is only going 15" per revolution vs 17" per revolution
