How do you guys like your nitro nx 750's w/ a merc 115. I looked at a spotless 2005 today.
    Thanks,

If its a 2+2 - 2 stroke it would have to be a great deal in my opinion before i'd buy it. Other than that the boat is a pretty good platform for its size.
It should run from 45-55 depending on prop and load.

I had an 03 with the 90, ran 48 GPS, sweet boat. I just needed a bigger boat to fight these big Texas lakes.

    Re: Nitro NX 750 (croix-man)

I bought a garage kept 2004 NX750 with a 115 in January 2011. I really have no complaints. I upgraded the TM, put in a fuel/water filter but the only thing I NEEDED to replace were the trailer bunks. It has been very reliable. The 115 pushes my 225 pound butt to 52mph (GPS)with a Merc Laser II 22P prop. Hole shot was on the weak side until I figured out the proper size vent holes on the prop. It is good now. The 2+2 engine is an outdated design but still works well.

A couple of things to check out would be stiff steering...the cables may be going bad. The prior owner had to replace them on mt boat. The other is the fuel lines. I had one that was delaminating internally. I discovered it when putting in the fuel/water filter. If you have any gray fuel lines, have them checked.

Re: Nitro NX 750 (06 SB)

I had my 2002 for 6 years and loved it compared to other 17 footers on the market at the time. I fished a 100hp and under circuit at the time and onl had a 90 on it. The top end was high 40's but with tank and livewell full it was a dog to get on plane, but handled real well. There were a few small details i would have like to see finished better, but at the time for the $ it was the right choice.

    Re: Nitro NX 750 (croix-man)

i own a '07 750 with a 90 hp carb mercury, i bought it back in feb '09 it came with a 12 volt 42 lb motorguide trolling motor and thats not enough so i upgraded to a 24 volt 82 lb motorguide tour and now i have enough power to burn! lol! i have seen just a little over 46 mph on gps and i think thats pretty impressive for a 90 hp and overall im pleased with my 750 but its not a big water boat but giving the high gas cost its great!

I have the Dual console NX 750 with a 90HP on it.. I love the boat and it will do 43 MPH GPS with a full load.

Would love a Z7 or 8 but those are within my financial means..

    Good Luck

I have the same boat. I put my two batteries for the trolling motor in the front left compartment and the boat pops up flat and takes off.
