Tankless Hot Water
I have a new bumper pull with a 6 gallon gas/electric hot water heater. I am considering going to on demand tank less. I want a unit that will install in the same location as existing. I believe from what I have seen 12 1/2 " x 12 1/2". Question is, what is the best bang for the buck out there today?
thanks

What you may want to look into is a point of use water heater. Some of the issues with going completely tankless in an RV is amperage in the water heater. Especially if you only have 30 amp service. Or if you use strictly propane, your propane usage is gonna be higher, since you're not storing water, as such. You may be better off keeping your 6 gallon unit in the hole and placing a point of use unit, or two where they would be most desired.

It's not price efficient to change your 6 gallon hot water heater until your present unit plays out. I've just got a 6 gallon unit in my fifth wheel, and I've never run out of hot water for showers, etc. And we use water just like we would at home--running city water at our campground.
